Way back in 2007 we launched LegalBeagles consumer forum. At the beginning the founders Kate & Sharon were law students juggling study around children and jobs. A decade on, those same founders have harnessed a powerful consumer voice to help people defend themselves legally, and have used their passion for law to provide practical answers, and create a tangible, affordable and innovative community solution to access to justice.
As well as asking questions to the community, our visitors also ask us to recommend lawyers to deal with their specific problems. It became clear that there was a gap and a consumer need. No one was offering a whole of market search and comparison, every single solicitor search site was based around a small group of firms offering services through a portal; which does not give free choice to the consumer.
We realised we could afford to be bold with our huge existing community, our reputation of trust amongst consumers and our values. We knew if LegalBeagles offered a full impartial platform to search all law firms that consumers would feel confident that their needs were being put first.
This is why we built JustBeagle. To offer consumers the chance to take some control in the search for legal services. To do their homework and make the search for services, simple and easy and convenient.

• Compare fees and select the right firm for your budget - transparency matters to us, so we show listings for fixed fee prices where they are made available. You’d be astonished at the price range variation between different firms.
• Search firms locally, regionally or nationally - distance can make a difference, with some matters needing to be handled in person, whilst others can be dealt with remotely
